Plot inspections
Below is the dates for the plot inspections for the 2025 season.
There will be six inspections per year:
April/May – Chair, Secretary and 2 representatives from Wingerworth Parish Council.
May – Health and Safety inspection.
July – Cultivation and tidiness.
September – Rubbish and borders.
October – Chair, Secretary and 2 representatives from Wingerworth Parish Council.
November – Health and Safety – readiness for winter, are things secure and unlikely to blow about with the winds.
We as plot holders have an obligation to keep the allotments in a reasonable state.
Wingerworth Allotment Co-operative Society have also adopted the National Allotment Society Policy Document 108 Cultivation Standards.
